Through our relationship we have truly grown together and have really put the time and effort into learning who we really are!! We always say yes to a good time and live like there is no tomorrow. We are an adventurous couple who loves the lake and nature.

The story of how we met is pretty funny. My maid of honor, Lana, grew up with Cole. I didn't meet Lana until college, but she definitely knew we would get along great. There was a small get together at Cole's house and she was invited and asked to bring her friend, Shae. Me being me at the time, I had no interest in going to meet up with a bunch of guys and be the only two girls there. Twenty minutes later, Lana comes to pick me up. I went, reluctantly. We arrived and didn't have much to say, so we went into the kitchen. Lana was a little hungry, so we found some drumsticks ice-creams and Texas toast in the freezer. When the toast was ready, we took the tray of toast to the basement with the boys. Think, "I carried a watermelon." Cole was the first person to see me and immediately asked, "Where did you get the Texas toast?" I laughed and said, "Not sure who lives here but we found some drumsticks and Texas toast in the freezer." He said, "Well this is actually my house." I thought for sure he was about to ask us to leave. But... he didn't, he laughed and said, "Well are you going to give me a piece of toast?" I did, and he said, "You're Shae, right?" and the rest is history.

So it was just like any other day with the boys. My buddy JD wanted to invite a couple of girls over, mainly just Lana. Lana wasn't going to come unless she could bring her friend. Of course, I said yes, the second I heard it was Shae Story! My buddies and I got the basement all set up. About an hour or so into the party, I noticed Shae coming into the basement. Lana was in front, and I didn't even notice that she was bringing drumsticks, but I did see Shae with a whole tray of Texas toast. Best Texas toast I've ever had. I went up to her and introduced myself but really to give her a little hell about why she had a whole tray of Texas toast. I asked her where she got the Texas toast and she said something like, "We were hungry and Lana said it was all good." She also said that she didn't know who lived at the house and she kinda felt bad. I told her it was my house and then joked, "Are you going to give me a piece of toast?" I didn't want her to feel bad, I wasn't upset and thought it was hilarious. No one has ever just came into my house and made their self so comfortable. The rest of the night I knew I had to get to know her more and now we are planning our wedding!

The proposal was so sweet. We were at the lake where we have the best memories. We had our dog, Cassie, with us for a little walk after dinner. It was so sweet and special. Cole was so nervous for no reason!
